Squabisch will be at the Kensington Farmer’s Market Sunday July 14th from 10am-2pm with 7 varieties of pretzels! We will debut 3 (!) new varieties this week!!!! :

Caprese - sun dried tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella

Funghi, Thyme & Mozzarella - cremini mushrooms roasted in garlic oil with Thyme and mozzarella

Raspberry Ricotta!

In addition to those I will also be offering these:

From making the dough, forming pretzels to boiling & baking & eating! Fun way to spend a Friday night! Kids 7 and up are welcome too at as reduced price.

Class is $45 for adults ($30 kids 7 and up) and light snacks will be served and you’ll receive complimentary beer from OVBW!

This hands-on class is a fun way to learn how to make the most awesome-est German Pretzels you have ever tasted! The class lasts just over 2 1/2 hours and we adjourn next door to Ocean View Brew Works with our freshly baked pretzels to show off and enjoy our pretzels with a beer when we are done. Class is limited to 12 and there are a few slots for kids (7 or older) at a reduced rate, so please sign up soon!

Snacks are served during class and the class includes 1 pint of beer from Ocean View Brew Works next door (or a small taster flight)!

In this class we will learn how to make this Schwaebische specialty : Krautwickel (cabbage rolls) and we learn how to make Spaetzle as well as Swabian favorite : Kaesspaetzle. In this class we tackle the german take on Gulasch (pork & beef) and we learn how to make Spaetzle as well as Swabian favorite : Kaesspaetzle. Afterwards we'll adjourn to the 'Stammtisch' and enjoy our meal together - we can enjoy our meal with a beer from the brewery next door (Ocean View Brew Works) or feel free to bring in your favorite wine or other beverage. (This week's lesson correspond's with SF Beer Week where OVBW is brewing special limited beers for the event and we will use one of these beers to cook the Goulash in!)
